As Spring comes upon us, beautiful cherry blossoms have begun to bloom all around China. People are flocking to temples, gardens and parks to see them – and snap a few photos along the way.

But some tourists have been so keen to get a good picture that they don’t mind if the trees are damaged in the process, according to Mashable. Many people want to get that perfect petals in the breeze picture, but sometimes the weather won’t let them. So they decide to take matters into their own hands.

This man was pictured kicking a tree to get that picture.

Weibo users have been heavily critical of this kind of behavior, calling it ‘rightfully uncultured’ and saying that those involved should be ‘arrested, charged and prosecuted’. This is not the first time Chinese people have gone too far to get the perfect picture – two peacocks died in a Yunnan Zoo after tourists picked them up to take pictures, and tourists also broke into a Guilin prison to take pictures in a peach tree garden.
