Jinan restaurant offers discounts based on the shortness of customers' skirts

In another great leap forward for the status of the fairer sex, a restaurant in Shandong capital Jinan is offering female customers discounts if they dine in miniskirts. 

The size of the discount is inverse to the size of their skirt, the shortest skirt netting a 90 percent discount. Although not explicitly stated, the logical conclusion here would be that discarding the skirt entirely earns one a meal on the house.

A fatal flaw in the establishment's system, however, is that the discounts are not actually determined by the length of the skirts but by the length of exposed leg above the knee, so eight centimeters of flesh will get you a 20 percent discount while 33 centimeters of bare thigh equals 90 percent off.  

This means that shorter customers will have to expose far more of themselves to attain a discount that someone with long, gazelle-like legs could easily earn while stain retaining Victorian levels of modesty. Even if you don't believe that the promotion crassly objectifies and commercializes women's bodies, at least consider how unfair it is the differently heighted.
