After he and Taiwanese film star Kai Ko got busted for smoking weed back in August this year, Jackie Chan's son Jaycee spent over three months in Dongcheng Detention Center. So how did they while away their long days — besides making blue and yellow the new black

According to mainland media, Jaycee Chan was thoroughly reformed and re-educated by the experience, transforming from desolate junkie to "cultured youth" during his time in the clink. In a new report detailing their lives behind bars, Jaycee is described as displaying a "huge change in temperment," spending his days reading books and writing songs and scripts.

Over his 113 days of detention, Chan reportedly tore his way through 100 books — nearly one book a day, cover to cover. Besides tomes on literature and film, Jaycee also studied finance and economics. Who needs rehab or school when you've got Dongcheng Detention Center?
