WATCH: Man Enjoys His VR Purchase on Beijing Subway

Amused passengers on the Beijing subway (what looks like line 10) last night caught a video of a man in their carriage trying out his new virtual reality (VR) headset.

No VPN? Watch here.

Weibo users have been frantically trying to determine what he is seeing. Guesses range from a cooking simulator, to walking through a swarm of fireflies. Most are just excited about the imminent arrival of the future. The comments on the video are littered with cries of "Super awesome!" and "This helmet shows us the pace of destiny!"

Some, however, have asked whether it is just a PR stunt meant to go viral. Fake or not, VR exists. The future is now, people.
