Tomorrow (October 1) marks China’s National Day and the beginning of National Week holiday. If you plan on taking the Beijing Subway, take note of the information below, as reported by the Beijing Subway (北京地铁) WeChat Official Account.
September 30 (Today)
Line 1
Tiananmen East (Tiananmen Dong) and Tiananmen West (Tiananmen Xi) stations are closed. Trains on Line 1 will pass through the station, but will not stop.
Wangfujing station is open as normal, but exits C1, C2, C3 and C4 on the west side of the station are closed.
Line 2 & Line 8
Qianmen station is closed. Trains on Line 2 and Line 8 will pass through the station, but will not stop. Passengers cannot change between Line 2 and Line 8 at Qianmen station.
October 1-October 7
Line 1
Tiananmen East (Tiananmen Dong) and Tiananmen West (Tiananmen Xi) stations are closed each day until 7.30pm. During this time, trains on Line 1 will pass through the station, but will not stop.
Line 2 & Line 8
Qianmen station is closed each day. Trains on Line 2 and Line 8 will pass through the station, but will not stop. Passengers cannot change between Line 2 and Line 8 at Qianmen station.
