Starting on January 1, three Beijing parks will have a host of fun snow activities for children as part of the 8th Beijing City Parks Ice and Snow Exhibition.

This year, authorities aim to use the event to bring the upcoming Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games closer to the public, as reported by Beijing Daily.

Taoranting park, Zizhuyuan park and Yuyuantan park will all feature Winter Olympic information boards, as well as activities for children.

Taoranting park offers children the chance to see penguins, as well as activities such as a merry-go-round and snow zorb suitable for children aged 2-5 years old.

Zizhuyuan park features a 6-meter-tall, 80-meter-long snow slide along with other activities.

Yuyuantan park’s west lake includes an ice slide, snow maze and more fun-filled snow activities.
