Here, a roundup of things we ate and gossiped about this month – for journalism, for research, for you, readers.
As the year comes to a close, so do a few bars and restaurants, unfortunately.
Over in Chaoyang Park, Cravings closed their original location, though you can still enjoy Cravings to Longfu, their Yunnan restaurant in the Longfusi compound. The casual eatery has debuted a few new menu items like Lijiang-style salt-cured rib hot pot and confit garlic beef with a homemade mix of spices.
Australian brewery Little Creatures shut inside The Crib, but we’re holding out hope they’ll pop back up again around town. Another brewpub bites the dust: Crafters moved from their shared space next to WavorHouse and relocated inside 12 Knights.
In Shuangjing, Gung Ho also announced closure, but you can still get your pizza fix at their only remaining location in Sanlitun. Speaking of pizza, Jing-A Taproom in Longfusi is dishing out a two-for-one deal on their sourdough pies every Monday. Wash it down with their brand-new crisp Smash Cider.

Looking for something warmer to sip on? Slow Boat’s signature mulled wine is available for happy hour prices all winter long at both locations.
On a final note, it’s almost Christmas time, so keep your eyes peeled for the best places to eat, drink and be merry this holiday season.
