Fan of art? Good news.
Independent Art Spaces is returning this month for their fourth edition after a break in 2018. From September 6-8, a host of workshops and events will be held in Beijing to celebrate independent galleries, giving visitors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of both Chinese and international galleries.
This year, Independent Art Spaces will host 10 international galleries, from countries like Switzerland, Germany, Australia and Japan. The three-day event will kick off on September 6 with an opening ceremony at Aotu Space.
On September 7-8 workshops focusing on ideas such as the perks of not having enough space, the limitations of independent criticality and an intriguing one in particular called skin-deepfake by I: project space, where all workshops will take place over the next two days.
