In the midst of all the noise and nightlife of Gongti, finding a quiet oasis to escape for a couple hours seems too good to be true. But what if we told you such a place does exist? Opening at the end of last year, Escape Spa is the answer to all of that muscle tension you’ve been shouldering thanks to those dreadfully long office days and restless club nights.

Helmed by health guru Tiffany Fang, who also brought you WeSlash, the boutique spa is located in one of the Yoolee Plaza buildings. It’s nestled on the 10th floor, so you can take in incredible views of the hustle and bustle of Gongti from above, all while basking in the glorious tranquility of the serene little spa. With services like moisturizing facials, deep tissue massages and antioxidant body scrubs (starting at RMB399), the Chinese deco-designed spa offers a luxurious yet affordable experience, with the utmost care and attention to detail during each transcendent treatment.

Begin with a sniffing ritual of a scented oil of your choice (choose from orange, lemon, eucalyptus, tea tree or lavender) and end with a dessert and tea ceremony – a harmonious blend of traditional elements and modern amenities. (Yeah, we’ll say ‘you’re welcome’ ahead of time.)
