Scene & Heard: PlanetChoco

PlanetChoco is exactly what it sounds like – just maybe a little smaller. This chocolate shop, nestled on the second floor of Jianwai SOHO, is brought to you by Connie Hong, who has years of experience in the industry and two locations already established in Seattle and Macau. A range of chocolates are on offer at Hong's first Beijing location: coconut and ginger, strawberry, sea salt, chocolate coated espresso beans and more. The choco whizz even whips up treats designed to be paired with certain beers, dessert wines and high-quality Italian coffee (all of which can be bought right in her shop). The dainty chocolates are then packaged tastefully in gift boxes, making them the sweetest presents.
