We Tried Very Hot & Spicy Chili Beer So That You Don't Have To

Ready to spice up your beer-drinking life? 7-Eleven has exactly what you’re looking for (or looking to avoid): Very Hot & Spicy Chili Beer. The bottle is eye-catching to say the least, though that might be merely due to its obnoxious, unbranded label (who makes this?!) or the chili pepper floating inside the bottle. Smells like: someone just threw a chili pepper into a Bud Light. Tastes like: someone just threw a chili pepper into a Bud Light. With one gulp, the spice puts up a good fight for a few seconds, but leaves an unnaturally bitter aftertaste and so many questions. Is it actually ‘very hot and spicy’? Not really. But more importantly, who’s brewing this? And why?

RMB19.90, available at 7-Eleven
