Mifan or Mafan: Qiantu

If you thought Mercedes’ massive ‘lifestyle center' in the middle of Sanlitun was Beijing’s only car-showroom-cum-cafe, you haven't heard of Qiantu. The electric car start-up has opened its own version on the ground floor of Nali Patio, featuring a section dedicated to indie magazines and books that mostly remain in cellophane wrapping. Prices here depend on what you buy: RMB45 for a single-origin flat white, RMB700,000 for a Qiantu K50 Roadster.
