Jun 26: 'Acquiring Identity' Exhibition
Zhao Gang, one of China’s original avant-garde artists, was a founding member of the renowned Stars Group at only 18 and has gone on to showcase his contemporary work around the world. Currently residing in both New York and Beijing, his latest exhibition ‘Acquiring Identity’ will delve into his own position as an artist and as a prominent figure in Beijing’s cultural community. The exhibition also speaks to both his own experience of living in a tiny Beijing apartment in the 80s, as well as moving to New York and appreciating the city’s cafe culture.

Jun 30: 'Midnight in Peking' Walking Tour
Calling all history buffs! Bespoke hosts another 'Midnight in Peking' walking tour, bringing Paul French's New York Times bestselling murder mystery to life. As night falls, you'll follow in the footsteps of the victim's father, ETC Werner, as he frantically searched for his daughter, and learn about the shady characters implicated in her killing.

Jun 30: Watermelon Madness @ The Craft Container
Guavapass and Heyrobics team up to bring you a fun hour-long workout session, with a refreshing twist – there will be a beer tasting and an RMB25 special on Jing-A's Beijing Bikini Watermelon Wheat. There will also be a Lorna Jane pop-up store and lucky draw, a watermelon eating contest and half price pizza and cocktails. There's no better way to start the summer!

Jun 30: Scuba Diving in the Underwater Great Wall
Sure, you've hiked the Great Wall – but have you scuba dived in the Underwater Great Wall? Located in Qianxi county of Hebei province, the submerged section of the Wall is about 3 hours from Beijing. The diver package fee includes everything you need for two dives (except gear, which can be rented for an extra RMB150/day), accomodation for two people, meals and a round trip boat ride from Panjiakou wharf. For those not interested in scuba diving, other activities include climbing the wild Great Wall, outdoor games, BBQ and fishing.
