Easter Sunday is fast approaching. We’ve done the dirty work for you and scouted the best places to brunch in Beijing this holiday.

The Opposite House (Village Café and Sureno

The Opposite House is in the spirit this weekend. Its Mediterranean restaurant Sureno will be serving a special three-course menu featuring your choice of chicken leg, lamb loin or carrot agnolotti (an 'Easter egg surprise' will be served as dessert). But if you're looking for something lighter, for just RMB138, Village Café is offering a healthy set Easter brunch featuring your choice of grilled lamb chops, a salmon poké bowl or poached organic eggs. Also on the schedule are egg decorating and the annual Easter egg hunt.

Feast (Food by EAST)

Chef Tim will be cooking up a festive Easter buffet brunch. All the classic Easter favorites will be served, with everything from succulent herb-roasted lamb and rich, chocolatey desserts. Add on free-flow Champagne (RMB198) for a holiday you won’t forget. And, as a bonus – little ones dining with an adult at this brunch can participate in EAST's Easter egg hunt for free.

Those looking for a beery holiday best head to Beersmith, where they'll unveil a new brew, Draft Punk Beer, alongside their British-style Sunday Roast.

Zarah is throwing the ultimate family-friendly bash for Easter, in cooperation with Kids Planet Hutong. Join for a festive brunch buffet, plus an egg hunt and special festive activities for kids.

Paulaner Bräuhaus

Paulaner Bräuhaus will be serving a special Easter brunch, including a full salad bar and carving station. There will also be family-friendly activities, liveentertainment and an Easter egg hunt.

The Lobby at Peninsula Beijing

The Lobby at The Peninsula will be preparing a seasonal buffet including roasted lamb chop with heirloom vegetables, gnocchi and mint jus, seared duck breast with garden beetroot, spring onion and mushrooms, and much more. If you're looking to booze it up, Bloody Mary cocktails and Champagne will be flowing all afternoon. For dessert there will be handcrafted chocolate eggs and hot cross buns.

Kerry’s Kitchen

Kerry's Kitchen is throwing a family-friendly Easter party. Kids can play in the Adventure Zone at the Terrace at Level 4. There will be giant drop slides, interactive games, a role-play village, ball pool, climbing challenges and more. Easter brunch will include oven-roasted lamb, sweet hot plum glazed ham and hot cross buns.

W Beijing will present a decadent Easter brunch complete with steamed lobster with garlic puree, marinated mussels with fresh chopped tomato and basil, whole roasted salmon and much more. There will be special play areas and an Easter egg hunt for the little ones, and lucky draws for all.

The Great Wall Hotel Beijing is going all out for their Easter brunch. Think baked fish with lemon hollandaise, grilled lamb chops, dim sum, pumpkin cream soup and much more. In addition, they will be serving a special French Easter dinner including goose liver mousse with mini bun and apple, beef consommé, roasted turkey and beef, mango parfait and more.
