Nov 9: Itzhak Perlman  

Quite possibly the most famous violinist on Earth, Itzhak Perlman and his very skilled fingers are in the capital this month for a solo show. Prepare to be blown away.

Nov 10: HVOB

HVOB is short for ‘Her Voice Over Boys.’ The feminist within us salutes the name, and everyone everywhere salutes the music. HVOB’s latest release, Silk, has been touted by American Thump as a contender for album of the year. The Austrian electronic duo have performed a Boiler Room set, and now they’re bringing that same energy to Omni Space.

Nov 10: SUBS, Demerit and The Sino Hearts

Chicago TV dance show Chic-a-Go-Go visits China for the first time ever this month. The popular show is inspired by American Bandstand and is known for featuring a range of artists and dancers. For the Beijing leg of the tour, the group stop off at School Bar for a live punk dance party featuring punk legends Subs, Demerit and the Sino Hearts.

Nov 10-11: Robben Ford

Robben Ford has five Grammy awards, 35 albums and countless performances under his belt. The blues guitarist has also worked with the likes of Miles Davis, George Harrison and Joni Mitchell, to name a few. Impressed? So are we. Ford will be performing on both Friday and Saturday nights at Blue Note Beijing.

Nov 11: Sean Nicholas Savage, Molly Nilsson & Better Person

Brace yourselves. This is going to be one hell of a night for indie music. Canadian singer-songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage, Swedish singer and producer Molly Nilsson and Berlin-based musician Better Person will all be descending on DDC on Saturday. This one’s gonna be good.
