Jun 14: Isabelle Huppert reads Marguerite Duras

The amazingly talented French actress Isabelle Huppert will take the stage in Beijing on Wednesday and read Marguerite Duras' The Lover. The controversial novel tells the story of a poor colonial teen who is seduced by a wealthy man. The performance will be in Frech but there will be Chinese and English subtitles.

Jun 15: This is Living 

The Hatchery is teaming up with KEA, New Zealand’s borderless nation, for an evening of talks and networking. You'll learn about "recent trends and developments across two contrasting urban landscapes as well as the growth of co-living and the shared economy in both New Zealand and China." There will be plenty of networking opportunities as well as a bunch of New Zealand wine and canapés by Hatchery.

Jun 15: Chef's Table @ Ramo

Chef’s Table is back for round two. Last time homecooks served a Mediterranean-inspired vegan dinner. This time around Chiara Ye, a renowned Beijing food photographer, will present an authentic and rustic Italian menu. Space is limited to 14 people, so reserve your spot while you can.

Jun 15: World Tapas Day

In case you didn't know, Thursday is World Tapas Day. A bunch of Beijing restaurants will be participating in the festivities. So why not have a night on the town and share some delicious food with your friends? There will be performances as well as delicious Spanish food provided by international chefs from restaurants all around China, including Agua, Aria, Carmen, Chef Campos, Galleria, Kenny’s, Migas, Mosto, Niajo and Velvet.

Jun 17: Camp the Wall

It's beautiful outside, so why not get outside and enjoy it? On Saturday Beijing Experience is leading a tour to camp on the Wild Wall. The ticket price includes transportation, hiking and a BBQ on the wall.
