School Bar will be closing down for the holiday. But before they temporarily shut their doors, they’re going to be throwing a big ol’ bash featuring some of the best MCs around China, including Chacha，米赛船长, BooM旭, 艾福杰尼, P.O.E，Dirty Twinz, 派克特，松果龙，张骐骥 and DJ ARC.

Genome 6.66mbp is all the rage in Shanghai right now. The super-talented crew of Chinese artists and DJs will be invading Dada on Friday, bringing future wave, dancehall and grime to the mix.

Jan 20: Wasabi Sound 7th Anniversary
Wasabi Sound is throwing a huge party at Lantern on Friday in celebration of their 7th anniversary. Seriously, there are going to be a ridiculous amount of DJs there to keep the dancefloor moving all night long. Main room DJs will include Bobby, Eric Lee, 2MM (a.k.a Sean C), Johnny Z; and Bar Room DJs will be Daniel Ma, DK, Yadong and Youga Wei.

Jan 21: Mr. Ho
Hong Kong’s Mr. Ho is a big name in the electronic scenes of Europe, where he held residencies for seven years (in Berlin, Paris and Vienna) and was appointed boss of respected German label, Klasse Recordings. He comes to Beijing courtesy of Dim Sum Disco, whose very own Boflex warms up the decks.

Jan 21: Pre-CNY Party @ Arrow Factory Brewing
Arrow Factory Brewing is getting the Year of the Rooster festivities started really early with a pre-CNY party this Saturday night (Jan 21). They’ll have 2-for-1 deals on Seeing Double IPA all day long. And there will also be different beers on offer every hour.

Jan 21: One By One
There’s going to be a pretty awesome night of hip-hop and rap going on at Yugong Yishan on Saturday. Ultimate Band Crew hails from Cameroon and will be bringing their reggae and dancehall sound to the room. Rapper MC Webber, NY-based Heretic (Jack Black) and bunch of other local hip-hop and rap artists will be making appearances too. For tickets and more information, click here.
