UPDATED: The Beijing 2017 Mega New Year's Party Guide

By That's Beijing, December 16, 2016

2 0

The year is rapidly coming to an end. And as we stated in our December issue we’re kind of glad to leave 2016 behind and start anew. From Trump to Brexit, 2016 was a strange year. But it's almost over, and luckily there are a ton of parties going on in Beijing this New Year’s Eve – so we can bid ado to 2016 on high note. Wherever you end up ringing in 2017, let’s all make sure to raise a glass of bubbly and toast to a new (and hopefully better) year. Oh and if you're looking to splurge on a special dinner before partying the night away, check out our guide to Beijing's best New Year's feasts

The Migas Soundsystem x Club Paradise

Migas is known for their epic New Year’s Eve parties and this one’s going to be no different… because legendary DJ Spinna will be on the decks. He’ll no doubt keep the party going all night long. But wait, there’s more. Migas will have a whole other party room dedicated to all things Club Paradise. Get ready to dance 2016 away.

Sat Dec 31, 9pm-4.30am; RMB120-RMB160 (includes one glass of sparkling wine), get presale tickets here. The Bar at Migas

New Year's Eve Party with Stevie Mac and The Mac Daddies

Down to the Speakeasy Basement Party

Back to the Future NYE Party @ Parlor

Head over to Parlor for a night of funk, disco and hip-hop with DJ BB Deng. This party's all about embracing the future so the dresscode is "neon futuristic." If you ask us, you should go all out with your outfits because there's going to be a whole neon lazer jungle (their words, not ours) set up. It's gonna be wild.

Sat Dec 31, 10pm-late. RMB100; Parlor.

ORGANIC New Year's Eve

ORGANIC is back with an extra-special New Year's party at Dada. As always the night is all about exploring the deepness, soulfulness and exquisiteness rooted within House and Techno music by combining sound, light and lots and lots of plants. OOPS2, Ludo V, Tanner and That's Beijing's very own Juhstynn will be keeping the party strong until sunrise.

Sat Dec 31. Free entry, Dada.
