May 24: Classic Movie Tuesday @ POP-UP BEIJING

Join the folks over at POP-UP BEIJING for a screening of the classic film, The Philadelphia Story (1940). Watch as Katharine Hepburn is forced to choose between her past love, her present love and her fiancé. James Stewart and Cary Grant also co-star in the movie.

May 24: Beijing Broads Sketch Comedy and Improv

Beijing Broads all-female comedy group are back with a night filled with laugh-inducing sketch comedy and improve. Get ready to double over with laughter. There’s also buy-one-get-one pitchers!

May 24: Working with Leather Workshop

Ever thought about making your own leather goods? Well, now you can at the working with leather workshop. Enjoy an afternoon in a lovely hutong studio and learn how to sew and dye leather. Plus you get to walk out of the workshop with you own handmade product.

Eyes on China Project, the Instagram collaboration of photojournalists, documentary photographers and video journalists based in China, celebrates its first anniversary with an exhibition in Beijing. Join the opening party where many of the photographers will be on hand to discuss their work. The project is a fascinating and beautiful look into everyday people and scenes across China. May 28: Shuangjing Showdown Round 4

Beijing's international amateur fight event returns to its original location for a fourth round of boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. With 12 fights scheduled and plenty of beer, music and BBQ (the later provided by local faves Plan B), you should be rumbling or, at least, getting ready to rumble.
