In Mifan or Mafan, we cover the latest restaurant and bar openings in the form of bite-sized reviews. In this ongoing series, all we hope to do is answer one simple question: is the rice worth the hassle?

We heard rumors of this being a dope-ass Hong Kong joint. Turns out, it is a moderate-ass Hong Kong joint. The scallion rice was nice, but the rest of the mifan – unless you’re in the Dawang Lu vicinity – is not quite worth the mafan.

At least it's easy on the eyes?
