Ever wondered about the history of the hutongs? Ever wanted to hear quirky facts about these historic structures?

Join Culture Yard and our Lao Beijing guide, Howard, on an informative walk through the hutongs.

Where?

Meeting Point: Culture Yard
Ending Point: Zhangzizhong Lu Station

When?
Sunday, November 10th, 14:00 - 15:00

Price: 80 RMB (60 RMB for CY Students)

We will meet at Culture Yard (Beixinqiao) and walk a little south to the starting point, Xiang'er Hutong.

Here we will enter the peaceful alleyways and Howard will begin his in-depth talk on the quirky facts about hutongs. Be ready to finally answer the questions on why hutongs are named the way they are, what happened with the Mongols came, and what did things look like before?
Be sure to ask about the obscure temple hidden in the area!

Our tour will end at Zhangzizhong
