Contemporary Austrian Dance and Performing Arts in China

Austrian culture is worldwide renown. Vienna Philharmonic, Vienna boys' choir or Young Singers Project of Salzburger Festspiele are regular guests in China. This winter they want to introduce contemporary Austrian dance and performing arts. Contemporary dance and performing arts are dealing with topics and questions of today and are seeking for new artistic expressions. As the most acclaimed representatives of the Austrian contemporary dance they would like to present Andrea Gunnlaugsdottir and Simon Mayer. Both have a very particular style but what brings them together is the confrontation with their own biography on stage.
