Spoonful of Sugar is a café/shop in the heart of Beijing’s historic Dashilar district, bringing a tastefully designed green-living experience to the community with food, drinks and eco products.
With an emphasis on the seasonal produces, chef Pol Anter works closely with the experience designer/owner Lin Lin, together they craft healthy, simple yet creative dishes and desserts. While inspired by Spanish and Catalan cuisine, adding ingredients such as hawthorns, kumquats, or the occasional sprinkle of Sichuan peppers, and a shot of Bai Jiu give a satisfying Chinese kick where least expected.
Beyond offering a quiet deliverance from the bustle of the capital, Spoonful Of Sugar is a creative community space promoting the work of local artists, food and beverage makers. We also host events on a range of innovative concepts from sustainable urban lifestyles to art installations. It is a space that serves as “A Spoonful Of Sugar” to invite people to experience the inevitable future of sustainable living.
